Notate.Music is a simple html-based tool that allows you to notate Indian music using the Indian system of solfege (sa re ga ma …). This is intended for musicians who prefer to read and write their notations in the devanagari script. Access the tool here.
Quick Start: Create a simple taal-based melody
Step 1) You can use the buttons to type in your text, or copy some sample text.
In the text-area box on the page, copy and paste the following:
((सासा रेरे मम गग )x2 सासा (रेरे गग )x2 रेरे सा )x2
Step 2) Select taal of your choice
Step 3) Create formatted text
Click on the Show Formatted Text button and you will see the notes divided into the taal structure selected. For instance if you’ve selected the 12-beat ektaal, you will see the following:

Step 4) Copy Formatted text as Text
You can copy and paste this formatted text into a document (try doing it in a google doc).
